After being postponed twice since it was first announced, Drake’s sixth album, Certified Lover Boy, is finally here. Over the past week, the stakes have been raised for the Toronto rapper, in part due to his ongoing feud with Kanye West, in which at one point it seemed as if the two rappers’ would release their new albums on the same day. With West’s Donda released last Sunday, the path is clear for Drake’s latest LP.
Just like Donda, Certified Lover Boy has a number of high profile collaborations, including the likes of Jay-Z, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Wayne and Travis Scott.
Certified Lover Boy is Drake’s first full-length studio record since 2018’s Scorpion, but Drake has more recently issued the Scary Hours 2 EP after last year’s Dark Lane Demo Tapes.
