Listen Out has announced its lineup for 2024, promising an exciting array of both international and local talent. Scheduled to tour across major cities including Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney, the festival will continue its tradition of bringing dynamic hip-hop and electronic acts to outdoor venues.
Listen Out is known for its well-curated mix of genres, predominantly focusing on electronic and hip-hop music. The festival not only showcases established artists but also supports emerging talent, making it a comprehensive celebration of contemporary music trends. The event spans 27th Sept to 6th Oct across Australia.
Grammy award-winning rapper 21 Savage will tour Australia for the first time, performing hits from his platinum albums “Savage Mode,” “Issa Album,” and “Bank Account.” British-Nigerian grime artist Skepta will premiere his new album “Knife and Fork” just before the Listen Out tour. Fans may also see a special performance featuring Flo Milli, whose breakout mixtape “Ho, Why Is You Here?” has amassed over half a billion streams.
Lil Tjay returns to Australia after selling out arenas last year, bringing hits like “Brothers,” “F.N,” and “Calling My Phone.” John Summit, known for tracks like “Where You Are” and “Shiver,” will perform fresh from closing Coachella’s Sahara stage. His debut album “Comfort in Chaos” releases on July 12. Sub Focus, with his new album “Evolve,” will also grace the stage, possibly joined by Summit.
South African artist Tyla, known for “Water,” and Jessie Reyez, with her unique blend of pop, R&B, and hip hop, will also perform. The Blessed Madonna, recognized for “Marea (We’ve Lost Dancing),” will deliver a set advocating social equality. Australian upcoming talent Ben Gerrans also finds himself on the lineup, having just wrapped up an impressive sold out Australia tour.
Listen Out continues to emphasize diversity, featuring a mix of international stars and Australia’s finest talents in dance, electronic, and hip hop music, with a special spot for a triple j Unearthed artist in each city.
