LISTEN: Swedish House Mafia Return To BBC Radio 1 With Special Guest Mix

Good friends of the BBC’s Radio 1, Swedish House Mafia continue their return with a fresh new mix for Radio 1’s Dance Weekend. Swedish House Mafia recently returned with new music for the first time in almost a decade in forms of ‘It Gets Better’ and ‘Lifetime’. The Swedes now continue to dive into their new creative direction with a 30-minute guest mix reflecting both the ‘old and new.’ Featuring classics such as Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso’s “555” release in 2010, Felix Da Housecat & Diddys “Jack U” Remix, with a sprinkle of Daft Punk and Ty Dolla $ign, fans of both past and present will sure get a kick of the grooves provided today by the iconic trio.

As we continue to fathom the return of Swedish House Mafia, the brief interview prior to the mix includes dialogue from Pete Tong and the rest of the band members sharing the process of the three finally coming together again and getting ready for “what’s next” in their careers. “Getting back together was the only answer,” says Steve Angello.
