Mako Returns With Impressive Single “Again”

An immensely talented singer, songwriter, and producer, Mako is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated sophomore album Fable, dropping yet another forward-thinking single with “Again.” Since he formed his Mako project in 2011, the artist has worked with massive names such as Illenium, Lindsey Stirling, R3HAB, and Steve Angello, as well as consistently teamed up with video game colossus Riot Games to contribute to their musical output.

“Again,” out via Ultra Music, follows already released singles “Coyote,” “Chameleon” and “Parable,” and marks yet another great addition to Mako’s anthology. A dark yet soothing combination of future bass sensibilities and indie elements, with a subtle orchestral twist, it is a stunning record that definitely makes us anticipate Fable even more.

“This entire record has been about challenging myself,” explains Mako. “Taking something familiar while reaching for something else that I haven’t heard before. With ‘Again’, I really hoped to take on that dense, awe-some, and melancholic effect of a full orchestra – and press it through the filter of a grooving electronic cutout.”
