Unleashing the anthem for a “Revolt”, Malaa terrorizes with his followup to “Addiction”

The aptly titled “Revolt” comes in hot on DJ Snake’s label, Premiere Classe, and is a delicious blend of g-house, house, and bass house. The balaclava-wearing artist invoked the talents of Australian artist, Jacknife, to add an extra bit of spice and intrigue. The release is paired with dazzling visuals by Nicolas Caeyers forming a symbiotic emulsion between audio and visual as if both needed each other to exist.

Malaa and Jacknife weave together sizzling synths and ominous guitar chords to lead listeners into the depths of a roaring drop exuding furious bass and gritty distortion. Overall “Revolt” is a dark club track designed to tantalize eardrums at 3 AM while the only light emitted comes from lasers dancing across the walls.

2019 is off to a ferocious start for Malaa with his releases “Addiction” and – now – “Revolt”. Is this the year of the masked Frenchman?
