Martin Garrix and Zedd Have A Collaboration In The Works

Good friends and superstar acts Zedd and Martin Garrix have a record in the work. The internet has speculated these two may get in the studio at some point and now it’s happened.

Garrix spoke to south Florida dance station Revolution 93.5 ahead of his performance at Daer nighclub in Hollywood and confided that the long-time friends have been talking about working together for about seven years.

ANYONE DOWN FOR A ZEDD x @MARTINGARRIX COLLAB?!

“We’ve sent all these ideas back and forth,” he says in a clip of the interview shared to Instagram, “but then when we’re together we always end up just partying or chilling or exploring the city that we’re in. I just sent him an idea, I think 4 weeks ago. It’s a crazy, very weird different chord progression, but because it’s so weird and different, he was like ‘man, I love this, send me this.'”

With these two being among the top artists when it comes to commercial dance music, we cannot even fathom how well this potential collaboration would do, both in the dance world and the commercial space. We may know soon however, as Martin states they hope to have it ready for Tomorrowland or Ultra.

Catch the clip of Martin discussing the collaboration in the video below.
