matphilly and SUBshockers Team Up On First Single Of Epic, Meaningful ‘AMP’ EP

matphilly and SUBshockers have teamed up on an epic single that one part of a greater story. The release “All I’m Missing In This…It Makes Me Numb,” combined vivid bass music with melodic elements with superb sound design and excellent themes. There’s more that meets the eye with this one. The meaning behind the single and the overall idea of ‘AMP’ is to ultimately pay tribute to matphilly’s late brother. Who was a big inspiration in life. matphilly hopes to grow his presence within music and a live setting to make his brother proud and honor hom in this way.

Both matphilly and SUBshockers have been around the block. matphilly has a long history or working with bands, touring, then turning his focus to electronic music and picking up production. With 6 years, he released on labels such as Nightenjin, Pandafunk, Speed House Movement/Brooklyn Fire, Play Me Records, and others, as well as performed at venues like AcademyLA and ExchangeLA, plus festival like Coachella. He has a style that could be picked out of a crowd.

Subshockers have their own story to tell. Made up of members Ted Vinzon and Justin Tice, they’ve been in the game for over 10 years and show no sign of slowing their rhythm. After earning the top spot via a remix of Flux Pavilion’s “Emotional” on Circus Records, more success began to come their way. From official remixes on Ultra Records to producing a variety of styles in their time including, drum and bass, future bass, and mid-tempo, these boys know how to get at it and and channel their talents in a righteous way.

All signs are pointing to AMP being both a moving and heavy project through and through.
