SyKo’s unique journey began in a trailer park in the rural town of River Road, TX, where dreams often seem out of reach. Inspired by artists like Lil Uzi Vert and Skrillex, SyKo has carved out his unique voice in an industry that often sidelines originality. “Trance music has been a significant influence,” He shares. “It’s the catalyst of EDM, yet often overlooked.” SyKo saw an opportunity to innovate with EDM by blending different genres, resulting in tracks like the distinctive #BrooklynBloodPop on 25/7 Records.
SyKo emphasizes that “What sets me apart is the ability to innovate. Music shouldn’t just follow trends—it should redefine them.” This mindset is reflected in his sound, which flagrantly resonates with fans and fellow musicians, especially those who appreciate authenticity in an industry saturated with formulaic hits.
Speaking about his breakout hit, #BrooklynBloodPop, which gained unexpected popularity, SyKo shares, “It felt like I was proving myself anew every day.” Despite initial doubts, the track quickly surpassed one million streams and achieved gold status.
