Metallica Expands M72 Tour: Celebrating Decades of Metal with New 2025 Dates

Metallica has just announced an exciting extension to their already legendary M72 World Tour, adding 21 new North American dates spanning April through June 2025. For a band that has dominated the world of heavy metal for more than four decades, this tour represents yet another milestone in their storied career. With a career that has influenced countless musicians and defined multiple generations of rock fans, Metallica’s ability to continuously perform at the highest level, selling out stadiums across the world, is nothing short of remarkable.

The 2025 extension will take Metallica back to some of the biggest stadiums in the country, but for the band, perhaps no stop will be as special as their hometown shows in the Bay Area. On June 20 and 22, Metallica will take the stage at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, offering a triumphant return to the place where it all began. For a band of their stature to still push boundaries with every tour and expand their legacy, this new leg of M72 isn’t just a celebration of their music—it’s a testament to their enduring connection with fans and their unwavering passion for live performance. With support from Pantera, Limp Bizkit, Suicidal Tendencies, and Ice Nine Kills, the new dates promise to be monumental moments in the band’s iconic career.
