One of Swedish House Mafia’s most anticipated IDs is finally here. Played through their first tour after coming back together – ‘Underneath It All’ was an emotional and uplifting part of their setlist. The track instantly stood out to fans as they fell in love with the record. Fast forward a couple of years and the track was nowhere to be seen, until Axwell rewarded fans with a dropbox copy of the anthem in 2022, to many though, an official release was what was wanted.
The collaborating artist Mike Posner recently revealed the tracklisting for his lastest album The Beginning – one track name stood out from the rest. ‘Underneath It All’ was noted and included in the album, a welcomed surprise. With the track now here, Swedish House Mafia, Richard Zaskener (LIOHN), Johannes Klahr (Klahr) and Calle Nordstrom (Desembra) are listed as producer on the track, but not officially credited.
The anthem is just like Axwell provided fans years ago, an emotive production that features the incredible melodic sounds from Swedish House Mafia. Whilst this version does not have the energy from some of the versions the Swedish trio have played out in the past, the fact that the song is officially here is amazing as it is!
