Mild Minds Releases Brilliant Sophomore LP ‘GEMINI’

Mild Minds unveils his eagerly awaited second album, GEMINI, via Foreign Family Collective. Serving as the nine-track successor to his incredible 2020 debut LP; MOOD, Benjamin David aka Mild Minds delves into the fusion of human emotion and digital evolution, reinterpreting turn-of-the-century club sounds with a modern touch.

While MOOD marked a bold departure from his work behind the scenes, GEMINI stands as a testament to that creative leap, blending breakbeats, airy pads, and chopped 2000s R&B samples with early trance influences and ethereal vocals. The result is a unique intersection of club-driven energy and introspective melancholy, a combination rarely explored in dance music.

After years of navigating the pressures of the music industry I was hesitant to step too far into the spotlight,” shares David. “But taking the plunge into my own project—something I was often discouraged from pursuing—has been seriously transformative. Seeing it resonate has been incredibly fulfilling and given me a new found confidence and freedom.

Mild Minds crafts an LP that heavily refines the sound design and melodies of the productions – making for a unique experience. Together with the outstanding vocal work, this project is very welcomed in a world of oversaturation.
