The relationship between NERVO and CULTR is one you’ll be familiar with, after we exclusively broke the news of Liv‘s emotional story earlier last month. A key reason for our admiration for the twin sisters is their ethos and moral compass when it comes to fighting worthy causes and doing good for the world. Keeping with that tradition, the girls have now shared a single with an important message and campaign behind it.
Teaming up with a non profit organisation called Hopeland, the Aussie born, London based duo are raising awareness alongside the organisation for child labour and trafficking across the world. NERVO are committed to shed light on children in poverty areas who are forced to work, spreading the hashtag #LetKidsBeKids on all their platforms together with Hopeland. They announced and premiered the release, titled ‘Is Someone Looking For Me?’ during Tomorrowland earlier this year, and it features Liv‘s daughter’s Ace Paloma on vocals amongst euphoric melodies.
Sitting at no.40 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 this year, NERVO are the all-time top ranking female DJs in the world. With a worldwide fanbase, their non-stop show schedule has earned them shows in Ibiza, London, LA and at multiple festivals including Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, Creamfields, EDC, Coachella, ULTRA, and many more. Also cementing their songwriting early on writing global no.1 David Guetta and Kelly Rowland‘s When Love Takes Over which they won a GRAMMY for, the duo have now worked with Kylie Minogue, Ke$ha, The Pussycat Dolls, Miley Cyrus and more. Producers in their own right, NERVO have become the biggest female act within the EDM scene, and you can hear the new single below!
