Netflix Drops Trailer For ‘Space Force’ With Steve Carrel And The Writers of The Office

Ever wondered what would happen if Micheal Scott from The Office was put in charge of the future of space and equipped with weapons that could end the world?. Well, Netflix has just dropped the official teaser for a new comedy called ‘Star Force’ starring Steve Carrell that will certainly please fans of The Office.

The new movie which is coming to Netflix soon, sees Carrel play the role of a four-star General who is chosen to be the leader of new government division called ‘Space Force’. The comedy flick arrives thanks to the same talented writers that brought us the all-time classic, The Office.

In the trailer, the special forces team members can be seen constantly disregarding or laughing without fear at orders from the president. So while Trump is never mentioned by name, we can assume there is a bit of a jab towards the sitting US President who himself named a new military branch ‘Star Force’.

In addition to Carrel, ‘Space Force’ also stars familiar faces such as John Malkovich, Diana Silvers, Tawny Newsome, Ben Schwartz, Lisa Kudrow, Jimmy O. Yang, Noah Emmerich, Alex Sparrow, and Don Lake. Stay tuned for Space Force’s arrival May 29th on Netflix, and watch the trailer below right now.
