While indie-pop musician Nicholas Roberts started releasing music back in 2016 with his debut single “Burnin’ For You,” it was the loss of his job at a technology startup that really fuelled the talented artist to take the next step in his career. In mid-2017, Nicholas Roberts began releasing a new song every month, and quickly amassed over 5 million collective streams on digital platforms, as well as features on dozens of TV shows on Netflix and MTV.
Now, Nicholas Roberts just shared his latest single “Younger,” teasing a 4-piece project with the same name that will mark his first since 2016. “Younger” takes Nicholas Roberts’ listeners on a journey through honest songwriting and thoughtful pop production, making up for one of his most exciting singles to date.
“Being young and in love is euphoric. I wanted to capture that feeling when you first find the person you know you’re meant to be with. It almost doesn’t feel real. I have vivid memories of staying up way too late, sitting on the floor and talking about the future, and just being genuinely happy.
