Nick Murphy Brings Back Chet Faker After 4 Years With New Single “Low”

A truly accomplished singer and songwriter, Chet Faker rose in prominence throughout the past decade off the back of his thoughtful songs and star collaborations, most notably with Grammy Award-winning producer Flume. After achieving stellar success, the Melbourne-bred talent launched his alias Nick Murphy in 2016, expanding on his already diverse catalog, that has amassed over 1 billion collective streams/plays to this date.

Now, after his surprise instrumental album Music for Silence as Nick Murphy earlier this year, the charismatic artist has brought back his Chet Faker moniker with “Low,” the alias’ first release in 4 years. Out via Detail Records, “Low” brings back the grooves and sonics fans have come to love from Chet Faker’s music over the past decade. A driving beat leads the way while Chet Faker’s voice dominates a minimal instrumental, creating an introspective and infectious effort, that also comes alongside a stunning music video.
