pluko & Australian Vocalist Panama Release Synergizing Single, ‘higher’

Wunderkind electronic producer pluko and Australian vocalist Panama have joined forces in an energizing and soul ascending single, higher. Superimposing pluko’s resonant drum beats and symphonious timbres with Panama’s golden vocals, higher is a fiery yet sublime song that deserves to be blared with the windows down.

Both understand the synergetic power of collaboration. Panama’s sultry sotto voce and passionate lyrics pair perfectly with pluko’s synth-heavy alt-electronic style that make for an aesthetic and all-encapsulating sound-scape that will give you goosebumps.

Pluko has been continuing to extend creative boundaries and deliver right when we need it most, adding higher to his list of recent collab tracks such as “used to (with Cassette Tapes)” and “blessings (ft. Nate Travellers). Sam Martinsen–the boy genius behind pluko– is well beyond his years having released his full-length album, ‘sixteen,’ from Foreign Family Collective in 2018, and mixtape ‘CLASS XIX’ in 2019, performing at multiple festivals such as Electric Forest and Ultra Music Festival, touring with Odesza, and co-founding his own record label and artist collective Splendid Society, all before turning 20. In addition to having his EP Always go platinum earlier this year, Panama has amplified his voice and talents in a series of collaborations with artists like daytime disco producer, Poolside, on their single ‘Can’t Stop Your Lovin’’ that sparked a chain of numerous remixes, along with many others including Petit Biscuit and Satin Jacket.
