Porter Robinson Drops Single “Look At The Sky”, Announces Album Release Date

The hype around Porter Robinson’s sophomore album Nurture has been building to a fever pitch for over a year now. Today, Porter has dropped some big news along with the fourth single from the record, “Look at the Sky.”

All of the singles thus far have affirmed the emotional nature of the record, and “Look at the Sky” is no different. The tune fits the theme of the record with Porter’s layered vocal production and big, anthemic, sing-along-able chorus. The uplifting jam is a little bit of everything we all needed in these trying times, and it couldn’t have dropped at a better moment.

Today Porter also announced a long-awaited release date for Nurture. On Twitter, Porter revealed the album will release on April 23, 2021 and can be pre-ordered here.

After building hype starting way back in January of 2020 with the release of lead single “Get Your Wish”, other singles steadily dropped throughout the year including the moving “Something Comforting” and dreamy “Mirror”. In December, Porter announced the album was “100% finished” and had been submitted, telling fans, “It’s my favorite music I’ve ever made.” The record is the artist’s first release since 2014’s masterful fan-favorite Worlds. If the singles are any indication, Nurture will surely be a worthy follow up.
