Post Malone Makes Movie Debut With Mark Wahlberg In ‘Spenser Confidential’ on Netflix

Post Malone’s known for his grand music videos and now he’s taken his acting to the next level, with his manager Dre London revealing that this year he has two movie roles due for release. The first comes with a role starring alongside Mark Wahlberg In the Netflix picture “Spenser Confidential”.

The film branded as an action-comedy was inspired by Robert B. Parker’s ‘Wonderland’, a best-selling novel by Ace Atkins. It was directed by Peter Berg and it also features Winston Duke, Iliza Shlesinger, Bokeem Woodbine, Alan Arkin and Marc Maron. For the role, Post Malone is credited under his real name “Austin Post”.

The story follows the hunt for the criminals behind the murder of two Boston Police officers by ex-cop Spenser (Mark Wahlberg) and his no-nonsense roommate, Hawk (Winston Duke). With his heavily tattooed face, Post plays a fitting role as prison associate of Wahlberg.
