Pusha T Returns With ‘It’s Almost Dry’ LP

Following a handful of singles, Pusha T makes his return to albums today with It’s Almost Dry. The followup to 2018’s DAYTONA is entirely produced by Kanye West and Pharrell Williams, with the pair also being featured throughout.

Pusha T is clear with his confidence in the project, telling High Snobiety “Oh, this is definitely going to be the rap album of the year.” Pusha T has the experience within the game for this comment to be more than just tongue-in-cheek bravado. He’s certainly not wrong, the album is incredible and is sure to be in contention for album of the year.

Having both Kanye and Pharrell being the production of the album shines through. Not one beat on the LP is a let down, allowing Pusha to build upon an already solid track. He does just that, even at 45 years old Pusha T is at his best.

Pusha T’s last album, ‘Daytona’, earned him a Best Rap Album nomination at the 2019 Grammy Awards. Since that release, the rapper has dropped several stand-alone singles, including ‘No Problem’, ‘Sociopath’ with Kash Doll, ‘Coming Home’ with Lauryn Hill and ‘Puppets’.
