You may not be familiar with the name RayRay, the Taiwanese heroine has left plenty to marvel at with her exuberant talent in DJing and producing. Her skills simply cannot be ignored, being the only female to compete in the Red Bull 3style World Finals in 2013, becoming the first Taiwanese artist to play at Tomorrowland, the global star in the making has also wrapped up studio sessions with Atmozfears, Yellow Claw, and Skrillex.
With all that being said, it’s definitely time to get familiar with the hard work put forward. Controlling her career’s narrative on her own, the artist is making recent headlines for the release of her “Alien Invasion” EP. Out now on Yellow Claw’s Barong Family imprint, the 5-track project is a versatile sampler that delivers multiple bursts of energies you’ll be sure to find a liking to. Featuring production cameos from Juyen Sebulba, Aazar, and Gianni Marino; this extended play has much to offer. RayRay seriously poses as one of the more exciting musical prospects that dance music has seen come out of Asia.
“Aside from this insanely fire EP releasing on the hardest label out there, it almost makes us really proud that it represents the rise of both Asian artists as well as female producers. Two important movements the EDM community is not seeing enough of.”
“Besides RayRay’s character and positivity; she stood out because she is an amazing DJ and tastemaker. Having her and her energy amongst us and the other artist on the label is amazing.” – Yellow Claw
