Peak fashion and impeccable vibes defined the 5-day festival during its big debut in Arizona’s Playa Ponderosa.
Last Weekend, Desert Hearts Festival held its long awaited debut in Arizona, at Playa Ponderosa, which is near Flagstaff. While it’s both a magnet for wildly colorful fashion and a lightning rod for vibes, this edition of the formerly California-based event was further hailed by participants at the event and its founders as perhaps the best Desert Hearts Festival yet. For ther first time, Arizona’s legendary Walter crew co-produced the event filling in the gaps with local talent, over the top art, and a big hearted ingenuity that can only be found in among Burning Man’s best theme camps. Alongside the original 4-man crew, Mikey Lion, Marbs, Lee Reynolds, and Porky, the event delivered salacious sonic experiences from on-stage stars like Rinzen, Evan Casey, Nala, Mary Droppinz, VNSSA, Walker & Royce, Lubelski, Ardalan, Coco & Breezy, and the Lisbona Sisters.
For those who missed it, you’ll probably never forgive yourself.
