Remix Radar 019: Featuring 3LAU, Anton Powers, and Cassian

The best distraction on the internet is back! Remix Radar is here with its 19th Edition. Crazy how far we’ve come! This week we feature some spicy remixes with 3LAU, Anton Powers, and Cassian leading the charge.

Don’t fret. Remix Radar is here once again. Scroll down for some fun!

San Holo – Lost Lately (3LAU Remix)

The highly infectious tune, “Lost Lately” receives a reimaging by 3LAU. The heavy-weight producer flips the San Holo hit into a fun bounce house track that swells and spirals with delightful synths.

Yves V Ft. Afrojack & Icona Pop – We Got That Cool (Anton Powers Remix)

Anton Powers remixes the smash hit “We Got That Cool” by Yves V, Afrojack, and Icona Pop. Mr. Powers weaves a danceable beat and utilizes the Icona Pop vocal expertly to craft a wonderful remix.

Bob Moses – Listen To Me (Cassian Remix)

Readers of Remix Radar will know that I am a big fan of Cassian’s sound. The Australian producer doesn’t disappoint as he unleashes his eclectic and vibrant sound design upon Bob Moses’ “Listen To Me”, turning it into a groove-tastic dance tune. It’s the finale to the Bob Moses Battle Lines Remix Pack.

We covered the entire RÜFÜS DU SOL remix pack here and I have featured several of the remixes as they trickled out in lead up to the complete pack’s release. For the remix pack finale, Justin Martin, Hot Since 82, and a VIP mix lead the charge. All three are quality remixes, but I want to spotlight the Audiofly and Mathame remixes.

The Audiofly remix of “New Sky” has a flowy, dreamlike state about its style. As you listen, you’ll drift along through a spiritual journey orchestrated by the duo.

Brother-duo Mathame reimagines “All I’ve Got” into a magical swirling DMT-like experience. It has a very special emotional quality to it. The feelings it conjures remind me of when I first heard “Innerbloom”.

Peking Duk Ft. Al Wright – Ur Eyez (Riton Remix)

British producer, Riton, unveils a nu-disco styled remix of Peking Duk’s “Ur Eyez” with Al Wright. The grooviness is absolutely the perfect intoxicant for bored clubs.

Joel Corry – Sorry (Majestic Remix)

Thumping kick, cascading piano chords.. What more do you need from a house tune? Majestic dazzles with his remix of Joel Corry’s “Sorry”.

From the creative genius of SOPHIE, her remix album is here. It’s a wild, experimental voyage into a weird and – sometimes – disturbing sonic experience.

Dirty Vegas – Days Go By (Dirty Vegas Remix)

The Grammy Award winning Dirty Vegas remixes their viral hit, “Days Go By” into a hypnotic groove with a little more spice than the original.

Huxley & Jacky – Put Your Number (Mathias Kaden’s ‘Call Me’ Remix)

Nestled within Huxley’s new collaborative ep with Jacky, is a delicious remix from Mathias Kaden. It’s a mind-melter for its entire 7-minutes of glory.

Mathias Kaden – Soulmakers (Pulshar Remix)

Back-to-back tracks for Mathias Kaden. In what was mere coincidence, a set I had listened to featured this tasty remix of Mathias Kaden and I had to share it. Pulshar creates such an entrancing remix out of “Soulmakers”. It drips into listeners’ souls and encompasses them with a mystic energy that had to be blessed by the Dance Music Gods.
