The second edition of Remix Radar in 2021 is here, with new edits from the likes of ALPHA 9, Chris Lake and Mat Zo. Dive into some of the best remixes coming out in February.

Miane – Who Are You? (Chris Lake Remix)

Chris Lake puts his own spin on Miane’s Black Book debut ‘Who Are You?’ After heading the initial demo, Chris knew he had to do his own flip of it. Chris adds his own touch to the record, beefing things up with low end energy and swirling synths for a driving new take, definitely set to turn some heads!

Glass Animals – Heat Waves (Oliver Heldens Remix)

Glass Animals have had tides of success with ‘Heat Waves’ and now Oliver Heldens provides his take on the bubbly single. Heldens highlights the original melody with his signature basslines and groove, creating a great mix of styles.

Above & Beyond feat. Zoë Johnston – Good For Me (ALPHA 9 Remix)

‘Good For Me’ was first released on Above & Beyond’s debut album ‘Tri-State’, which celebrates its fifteenth anniversary in March 2021. Featuring the ethereal voice of long-time collaborator Zoë Johnston, it is one of Above & Beyond’s best-loved anthems. ARTY turns to his ALPHA 9 alias for a faithful update of an evergreen classic. As expected, ALPHA 9 provides a wonderful uplifting trance rendition of the original.

ILLENIUM & Dabin feat. Lights – Hearts on Fire (Bassjackers Remix)

Released in the 4 track remix EP, Bassjackers is clearly the best. The duo take a different production approach with a progressive house/future bass fusion that provides incredible energy. Overall this may be the best number from Bassjackers in some time.

Lost Frequencies feat. Mathieu Koss – Don’t Leave Me Now (Brooks Remix)

Brooks’ first offering of the year comes in the form of his bouncy remix of Lost Frequencies’ ‘Don’t Leave Me Now’. Highlighting the classic and loved Brooks style, the Dutchman injects the perfect energy, creating an awesome and fun remix.

Ferry Corsten – Rock Your Body Rock (Mat Zo Remix)

Ferry Corsten’s 2003 record ‘Rock Your Body Rock’ receives the Mat Zo remix treatment almost two decades after release. Mat Zo perfectly brings a refresh to this classic without removing its roots.

Koven – Worlds Collide (Grafix Remix)

Grafix remixes Koven’s ‘Worlds Collide’ as a part of their newest release. Grafix takes ‘Worlds Collide’ into the soundscape he has helped to pioneer. With driving drum and bass beats, this is a must listen for fans of either artist.

Krysta Youngs – LOVE ME (Oli Harper Remix)

Oli Harper brings some chill vibes to Krysta Youngs’ ‘LOVE ME’. Keeping the amazing vibes from the original, Oli overlays feel good piano and creates an amazing new version.
