A Remix Spotlight: Synymata Presents Emotional Rework of Slander’s “Love is Gone”

In case you were missing it, our good friend Brendan will be back with a full Remix Radar article next week, featuring a whole host of amazing remixes for your listening pleasure. To tide you over until then, I’ve brought one remix I loved from the last week, a brand new reimagining of one of Slander’s best pieces, “Love is Gone” by newcomer Synymata.

A plethora of incredibly talented artists have already tried their hands at remixing this emotional bass music masterpiece, but on Friday Slander passed the torch to one of my most promising new finds of late, Synymata. His version retains all the emotion of the original while showcasing the hard hitting production work from Synymata. Massive bass waves perfectly juxtapose the gorgeous vocals from Dylan Matthew, whose lines get a chopped appearance in the well-crafted drop.

26-year old Milwaukee, Wisconsin native Synymata has been putting out music since 2016 and has already amassed nearly 3 million Spotify streams alone. This remix is surely set to be one of his biggest releases to date, and as bass phenoms Slander are set to start their tour this Friday, January 10th, you can bet you’ll be able to hear this on the big stage at a city near you. Cop tickets here and keep an eye out for more music from Synymata in 2020.
