REVIEW: Chris Lake Shuts It Down At The Midway’s Black Book Party

It was a chilly Saturday night in San Francisco, after suffering a delay for its original date, Chris Lake gave the fans what they wanted and delivered a much better than expected Black Book Block Party. Consisting of a lineup featuring Chris Lake himself, Chris Lorenzo, VNSSA, and Bruja, this house spectacle showcased a variety of discreet sounds and styles that were perfect for the occasion.

Sectioning out an entire street beside San Francisco’s The Midway, the proportions could not have been any larger. With the stage set, fans quickly loaded into the area to be treated to 6 hours of house music. Fresh off the collaboration with Grimes, Chris Lake was able to debut the newly released “A Drug From A God” in front of this faithful San Francisco crowd. The vibes, food, and bars were immaculate and the elements to a great night out were all put in place.
