On March 15, 2025, Michael Bibi turned Hollywood Boulevard into his own open-air club, shutting down a stretch of the iconic street between Vine and Cahuenga for a night of house music under the city lights. Organized by Framework and Goldenvoice, the show also supported a good cause, with a portion of proceeds going to the LAFD Foundation Fund – following the recent fires in LA.
The setting was something special. Dancing in the middle of Hollywood Boulevard, surrounded by neon signs and historic landmarks, felt surreal. The open shops lining the street added a strange but fascinating contrast.
BLOND:ISH was the perfect opener, setting the vibe with her signature sound before handing things over to Bibi. His set was strong, packed with deep grooves and rolling basslines, but there were moments when the momentum lagged. Closing out with a few low-key tracks in the final stretch felt like a missed opportunity – something bigger and more energetic would’ve sent the crowd home on a high.

The stage setup was sleek but not without flaws. The semi-transparent design looked cool, but unless you were up close, actually seeing Bibi behind the decks wasn’t easy. That said, the energy on the ground more than made up for it.
Production-wise, the event certainly delivered. Fire bursts, lasers cutting through the Boulevard, and the sheer scale of it all made for an unforgettable experience. It’s not every day you get to rave in the middle of one of the most famous streets in the world.
All in all, Michael Bibi’s Hollywood takeover was an ambitious event that showed that this was not their first time on this street. The combination of music, atmosphere, and setting made for a night that won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
