RÜFÜS DU SOL Recruit Willaris. K & Yotto For ‘Underwater’ Remixes

Introducing their sixth edition of SOLACE Remixes, the Australian electronic trio RÜFÜS DU SOL today revealed three remixes of their critically acclaimed track, ‘Underwater’, from tastemakers Yotto and Willaris. K.

Fellow Aussie Willaris. K kicks off the package with his rework of ‘Underwater’. The nine minute remix starts with a calm take on the vocals but transcends and builds into a killer underground electronic drop. The introduction of the melody and it’s slow progression really sets this remixes apart from other productions. His unmistakable dark tones and moody soundscapes are present throughout the entire production. After wowing festival goers at Days Like This and teasing his remix via Instagram; Willaris has followed up his Natural Selection/Cobaki Sky EP with this sensational production.

Finish producer Yotto provided two different takes on ‘Underwater‘, in his Dusk and Dawn remixes. With the ‘Dusk’ remix setting the tone for nightfall as a bold effervescence echoes across an addictive bassline. ‘Dawn’ strips the track back and magnifies its raw underlying simplicities at the core. Out of all three remixes, Yotto’s Dawn mix is the only one that isn’t a 100% brand new production, as it briefly includes the amazing melody from the original ‘Underwater’. Yotto’s sweet melodies and RÜFÜS DU SOL’s vocals are really a match made in heaven.

RÜFÜS DU SOL picks for the ‘Solace Remixes Vol. 6‘ are incredible, some of the best RÜFÜS DU SOL mixes since What’s So Not taken on ‘Interbloom‘.
