DJ/Producer SAYMYNAME is teaming together with Insomniac Events and the Local Hearts Foundation to produce “One Beat,” which will give the unheard a voice and a stage. A signature event that honors diversity and brings people from all walks of life together. SAYMYNAME and friends are set to perform at Exchange Los Angeles on February 4th.
In the year 2020, in the middle of social unrest, SAYMYNAME decided to start his “One Beat” series. With the help of Insomniac Events, SAYMYNAME was able to present a live stream themed on black lives matter, giving fellow African-American creatives a platform to proudly display their name and face. The goal of the performance was to generate money for a local charity while also bringing attention to the lack of diversity in the music business. SAYMYNAME’s career reached a high point as a result of the fight for change and visibility. Many people have been motivated to bring the “One Beat” concept to reality as a result of this event.
SAYMYNAME will be accompanied by a supporting cast of brilliant musicians from all genres and backgrounds on February 4th, 2022. Attendees will get to know the sounds and styles of BLVCK JESUS, MADGRRL, Dack Janiels, GAWM, ETC!ETC!, JMoss, and Izadi, who are among the brightest stars in electronic music. This charity event will donate a portion of the earnings to the Local Hearts Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to fostering a culture of love and prosperity by assisting people in need, in collaboration with Insomniac Events.
