Seven Lions has released the deluxe version of his critically-acclaimed album Beyond The Veil, revealing some goodies within. Fans are buzzing about is the release of two-brand new songs titled “Alive,” and “Brightest Light.” Although released as an extra to celebrate the release of the updated and upgraded album, the singles don’t compromise on quality or experience in the least.

Diving into the music: “Alive,” features an emotionally charged vibe thanks the melodic work from Opposite The Other. The overall vibe is true the the roots of Seven Lions, mixing in a heavy bass feel with a spiritual-esque nature that speaks to the soul. The track is easy to enjoy again and again.
“Brightest Light,” features Dotter and displays a bit more technicality. Similar to “Alive,” the vocal is certainly the centerpiece of this track. Intricate synth work, smooth arrangement, and a catchy topline are all strengths that capture a pure and clean feel that’s all it’s own.
