DJ/Producer Sherm Performing More Set Time Than Any Other At North Coast Music Festival

North Coast Music Festival is right around the corner and with that comes a slew of exciting acts, almost entirely electronic music-focused. Amongst those is Chicago-artist Sherm. A jack-of-all-trades-talent, the man does a variety of things that all loosely tie in together. For example, he’s the A&R of Hood Politics, the host of a long-running dance-music interview podcast called ‘Sherm In The Booth,’ and a DJ/producer becoming more in demand as time passes (among other things.)

His passion in the studio and behind the decks is house, putting a fresh spin on the genre and blending in a unique style which can be labeled his signature sound. Songs like “Chicago Handshake,” and “Still Alive,” giving an informed outlook as to what he’s doing sonically and what the overall vision is.

Having played North Coast in 2018 and again in 2021, he’s built up his reputation in a way that laid the ground work for a hefty 2022.

He’s been invited to play 2 sets on the Saturday date of the festival. Hitting Diplo’s Higher Ground-Themed Canopy Stage at 2PM-3:30PM, then rushing over the Silent Disco stage at 4:30PM-7:30PM, going to town with a massive 3-hours set.

The writing is on the wall, Sherm is locking down these spots for a reason, buy your tickets and come find out why. He has his past sets from North Coast uploaded as well (above,) allowing a preview of sorts to be experienced ahead of time.

If curious regarding what his podcast consists of, see below.

Sherm tackles many different projects, while having a graceful way of pulling in all together into a single brand that fits and makes sense. Check out his songs below and don’t miss out on his North Coast Music Festival 2022 set September 3rd.
