SLANDER And NGHTMRE Drop Second Collaboration After Four Years, ‘FEELING GUD’

SLANDER and NGHTMRE’s professional relationship extends far past being just collaborators. They’ve been on tours together, performing sets under the NGHTMRE + SLANDER Presents Gud Vibrations moniker, and have launched a similarly titled record label, all named after their first collaboration ‘GUD VIBRATIONS’. It may be hard to believe, but in the four years since, amidst heavy touring and close relationships, they haven’t dropped another single. Until now, that is – their hiatus broken by their new single, ‘FEELING GUD’.

The iconic lyrics sung by Matthew Santos with amidst a couple of intertwining motifs, FEELING GUD extends the same vibes into the drop too. It’s SLANDER’s quintessential ‘heaven trap’ sound with short and sweet supersaw stabs, interspersed by vocal chops. Although simple, the drop is effective, with a strong melodic ring to it. The second drop spices things up with some harmonious square synths and powerful percussion.

‘FEELING GUD’ is quite an apt title, with charming energy and bright sound design, a sure addition to your upcoming summer playlists.
