Snoop Dogg Tapped By Delivery Service Just Eat To Revamp Their “Did Somebody Say Just Eat” Song

Rapper, Icon, entrepreneur and weed fanatic Snoop Dogg has announced that he was brought on for a very special collaboration – to add some “Doggystyle” to popular food delivery service Just Eat’s jingle, “Did Somebody Say Just Eat”.

In the teaser for the commercial, it is billed as ‘this year’s biggest collaboration,’ so far we only get a glimpse of the rapper in the studio mixing up the jingle with the sound of a choir teased throughout. Snoop drops some background on the new version he’s recorded saying “It was a great track, it had its run, it did a great job… but it needed to upgrade, That’s why they brought me in, you know. To put some spice on it.”

The delivery service this year celebrates 19 years of operation and right now food delivery is one of the main ways people are spending as the world is in lockdown. Getting one of the biggest music icons to jump on their jingle is one hell of a way to celebrate their anniversary.

If it hits viral success like the food delivery service no doubt hopes, it wouldn’t be the first they have struck gold with their advertising. Their 2019 commercial has over 20 million views and the previous years also has been watched an impressive 6.7 Million times on YouTube.

The global campaign will launch in seven markets starting from May, a run for a year in every territory, with coverage across TV, out-of-home (OOH), digital OOH, social and radio spots. The full commercial and song will drop on May 8th.
