With its 100th release and an upcoming label takeover at DC-10 in Ibiza, Solid Grooves dropped a 10 song compilation right in time for summer. The compilation features label founders Michael Bibi and Pawsa. It also includes Ben Sterling, Blackchild, Dennis Cruz, and Silvie Loto.
The standout tracks on this compilation are ‘Don Lee’ by Ben Sterling, ‘Lil Freaky’ by Michael Bibi, and ‘Coltrane Distress’ by KinAhau. ‘Coltrane Distress’, in particular, showcases the production skills of KinAhau. KinAhau continues to impress at such a young age, displaying killer production and captivating performances on the decks.
Solid Grooves’ Ibiza takeover will start on June 5th and run every Thursday until October 2nd. Chris Stussy will be one of many guests joining the residency this summer. As for Michael Bibi and PAWSA, they both have major summers coming up. They both will be playing massive individual shows in London.
