Mischa Reining, widely known as the dj/producer, Spag Heddy, has been the hottest talk of the town with his new bootleg remix of Lil Jon’s high-octane cut, “Fuccboi.”
While Spag Heddy himself is a well-established artist paving his own path, a bootleg remix of a Lil Jon track carried great meaning. When asked about the process behind this track, Spag Heddy commented, “When Bailo sent over the stems for this one it felt like being a kid and your friend giving you his best shiniest toys that you’ve been enviously staring at, to play with for as long as you want.” (Spag Heddy) As seen, the remix is an extended dialogue of not only a single track, but also a symbol for the passing down of stardom and tool for success. Drawing inspiration from other industry creatives, Spah Heddy’s musical arsenal further consists of big remixes for The Chainsmokers, Krewella, SLANDER, and originals that can be heard in sets of Skrillex, Excision, Subtronics, NGHTMRE and many others. Having toured the US with Zomboy and Flux Pavillion, as well as being direct support for Excision and Zeds, one could tell that the path Spag Heddy walks is paved by both his fans and industry leaders.
