Disney+ has unveiled a new premiere date for Lucasfilm’s highly anticipated series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. The thrilling adventure will now debut early, with the first two episodes premiering on Tuesday, December 3, at 1:00 p.m. AEDT, exclusively on Disney+. Following this, new episodes will stream weekly on Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. AEDT. To celebrate Lucasfilm’s latest galactic journey, brand-new key art was also released today.
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew tells the story of four kids who uncover a mysterious secret on their seemingly safe home planet. Their discovery propels them into a strange and perilous galaxy, where their quest to return home leads to unexpected encounters with both allies and enemies—and an adventure beyond their wildest dreams.
The series stars Jude Law, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, Tunde Adebimpe, Kerry Condon and Nick Frost. Episodes are directed by Jon Watts, David Lowery, the Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert) Jake Schreier, Bryce Dallas Howard and Lee Isaac Chung.
Jon Watts and Christopher Ford are the head writers and also serve as executive producers along with Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson. Chris Buongiorno, Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck are the co-executive producers, and Susan McNamara and John Bartnicki are the producers.
