Disney+ has renewed the Original drama series Paradise for a second season. Produced by 20th Television, the political thriller comes from creator Dan Fogelman (Only Murders in the Building, This Is Us) and stars Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us, American Fiction) as Agent Xavier Collins.
Set in an idyllic community home to some of the world’s most influential figures, Paradise takes a dark turn when a shocking murder disrupts the peace, triggering a high-stakes investigation.
The first season features a star-studded cast, including Sterling K. Brown, James Marsden, Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Aliyah Mastin, and Percy Daggs IV. Executive producers include Dan Fogelman, Sterling K. Brown, John Requa, Glenn Ficarra, John Hoberg, Jess Rosenthal, and Steve Beers.
Debuting to strong viewership, Paradise amassed 7 million views in its first week across Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally. It quickly became a breakout hit, earning critical acclaim and a Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
While Disney+ has officially confirmed Season 2, those involved with the series have stated that Paradise is envisioned as a three-season arc, with major storylines set to unfold over the coming chapters.
Season one is currently streaming on Disney+. The penultimate episode drops this Tuesday, leading up to the season finale on March 4.
