Stranger Things Season 4 Teaser “Not In Hawkins Anymore”

Netflix has shared new teaser in preparation for the fourth season of its cult hit series Stranger Things. First sending out a tweet of only Emojis of a clock, and now the first teaser reveals nothing but the dark ominous 80s inspired theme revealing the number 4 and the caption “We’re Not In Hawkins Anymore”.

Additionally the series creators and showrunners The Duffer Brothers have been revealed to have just signed a multi-year film and series overall deal with Netflix!

What could this mean? Well, half of the main group left to a new town. So season 4 could see the Hawkins residents heading there. Alternatively, there are strong indications through out this teaser that they could be heading back into the upside down. Season 3 did lack the exploration of the mysterious world but that may be made up for in season 4.  The teaser has a cabin light turning off as well as the overall theme of the video dying and becoming dark.

There is no doubt this is referring to the upside down. An out of the box locations the crew could be set for is Russia. Russia was an important part of the season 3 story and the post credit scene took place there, it would be unlikely yet interesting to see them in Russia but with that decision come many variables.
