The digital festival will be showcasing the scene’s most promising bass artists such as Shlump, ill.Gates, TRUTH, A Hundred Drums, Jem Ese, Dubyes, PlayTime, ZIA and MiDi.GANG, the collaborative sound project of G-Space and RAN2CCIO. The virtual event will also host the debut performance of phantom bass identity Tripp St. who took the underground by surprise after releasing an all original, unreleased mix titled, “Welcome To Tripp St.” on SoundCloud. The wub-heavy bill also features zealous performances by famous beatboxer, producer, guitarist, and drummer Honeycomb, along with hip-hop producer and rapper, IMJLS.
The event was born out of the desire to give back to the community, support artists whose shows and careers were put on hold due to COVID-19, and foster connections amongst members of the community while on stay-at-home order. Now, as the nation faces an even bigger crisis, SummerEyes has expanded its gaze to support the Black Lives Matter Movement and call to action against racial injustice and police brutality. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Black Lives Matter, Campaign Zero, and Until Freedom.
SummerEyes Digital Festival will be hosted on EDM.com Twitch Channel on July 2nd and 3rd, 2020.
