SuperM’s debut album Super One is now out! The 15 track debut album features an amazing set of tracks from the talented super group and it’s set to push them even further into the Western world.
SuperM brings together seven outstanding artists: SHINee’s Taemin, EXO’s Baekhyun and Kai, NCT 127’s Taeyong and Mark, and WayV’s Lucas and Ten.
With the October 2019 release of The 1st Mini Album ‘SuperM’ EP, SuperM made history as the first-ever K-pop artists to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, as well as achieving No. 1 on the Artist 100, Top Album Sales, Digital Album, World Album, Top Current Album, Internet Album, and World Digital Song Sales charts.
SuperM blend K-Pop and electronic sounds with their 15 track debut album. There are a multitude of different styles throughout the LP, but the high energy records are the ones that stand out. Moonshine produced a lot of the album and their strong relationship with the Korean team is felt throughout their productions.
A positive, powerful message pervades the songs of Super One. SuperM declares, “We are all ‘Super’ beings, and each ‘One’ of us have our own power, so let’s overcome the difficulties we are experiencing with ‘One’ unified strength.”
At a global press conference held ahead of the album release on September 24, 2020, SuperM also officially announced their collaboration with Marvel Entertainment. The project features a SuperM x Marvel limited edition package collection available exclusively for preorder HERE. The new initiative serves as a launch point between SME and Marvel to create future SuperM x Marvel co-branded content, products, and live fan experiences spanning the SME portfolio.
