Following their incredible hometown show on Wednesday, Swedish House Mafia release their new anthem ‘Wait So Long’. At the show, Swedish House Mafia played the track for the first time at their recent Stockholm show, having only played it in their solo sets.
Since its first play, ‘Wait So Long’ has been a standout with fans thanks to the incredible vocal. The track manages to be fresh, yet packed with the melodies and production that made the Swedish trio who they are. The track provides a an emotional connection beyond the lyrics, making you feel the track inside. This is certainly one of the best exports from Swedish House Mafia since their reformation.
The track samples Plan B’s track of the same name, which Fred again.. actually produced. The new version here was helped by the usual SHM production wizards: Yaro, Klahr and Gino Nano.
‘Wait So Long’ marks the first Swedish House Mafia release on SUPERHUMAN, their newly launched label – following solo releases and only one track from someone outside of the three, yet…
Last year, the group released their single, ‘Finally’ with Alicia Keys, a reworked version of Kings of Tomorrow’s timeless song. They also released ‘Lioness’, which they originally began teasing during their historic six-week Ushuaïa Ibiza Residency.
