After leaving Columbia Records and Patriot Management, Swedish House Mafia have joined forces with Wassim “Sal” Slaiby. Sal is most largely known for his work managing The Weeknd. This is a huge get, with Sal being one of the most prominent managers in the game.
Along with The Weeknd, Slaiby has a roster of artists, producer and songwriters that include Doja Cat, French Montana, Bebe Rexha and Ty Dolla $ign. Variety named Slaiby manager of the year in 2020.
Rumors have been swirling around the Swedish trio increasingly this year and it seems something is imminent. With a handful of singles ready to go, it seems Seb, Steve and Ax have been waiting for the COVID situation to pass before they jump back into the project.
Things are definitely moving in the SHM camp, which is sure to ignite fan’s interest back into the talents. Not long to go now…
