The bromance between Monsieurs Angello, Hedfors, and Ingrosso continues to blossom alongside The Weeknd, with the vocalist now confirmed to perform a special joint set alongside the Swedish trio at Coachella later this month. Kanye West, now legally titled ‘Ye’, had been set to perform at the festival, but after rumours began to circulate over the $8.5m fee he demanded, West – who was recently banned from Instagram for repeated abuse of Kim Kardashian‘s partner, Pete Davidson, has now been pulled from the line-up. The news comes as a blow to the ‘jeen-yus‘ star, who also saw his Grammy performance cancelled last week due to ‘online bullying’.
With Harry Styles and Billie Eilish set to headline the Friday and Saturday night slots at the Californian festival, the Swedish House Mafia will now round out the weekend on Sunday, alongside the man they’ve worked extensively with during recent times, via singles ‘Sacrifice’ and ‘Moth To A Flame’. With rumours continuing to circulate that The Weeknd will also support SHM during their show at the O2 Arena in London this coming Autumn, this might not be the final time we see both artists combining forces for big-crowd performances.
