Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber To Release Collaboration 'I Don't Care' This Friday

Last week Bieber teased a picture of himself and Ed Sheeran on social media raising suspicion that the two global pop dominators were about to drop a new collaboration which might just break the internet. Now today that’s been confirmed with the reveal of the artwork for the new single “I Don’t Care” in marker over a plain white paper texture.

With Justin Bieber having not put out an official single since featuring on 2018’s “No Brainer” his fans will be eager to repeat this one for months to come, with an album confirmed by Bieber during his surprise appearance during Ariana Grande’s Coachella performance we assume this will be one of the first singles. Ed Sheeran has also been quiet since the release of his album Divide in 2017 however is currently the 13th most listened artist on Spotify, the combination of these two’s star power resulted in “Love Yourself” last time now with both featuring on it we have a feeling we might see them holding a global #1 spot on radio and streaming worldwide in no time.

LUNA MAY Delivers An Important Message on 'Aftermath'

Meet LUNA MAY. a rising Australian Artist and Songwriter, she's already clocked more than 30 million listeners on Spotify and picked up the support of imprints such as Future Classic, Dim Mak and TMRW Music. Her incredible vocals talents and poetic songwriting abilities have led her to be in demand for features for the likes of GANZ, Palais and BUNT, now she continues to define her own sound with her powerful second single "Aftermath".

Having spent many years lending her talents to others, in 2018 she found a voice of her own with the launch of her first single as LUNA MAY. with "Silly Boys", the track was featured by Future Classic as one of there "Recommends" and has since picked up almost a quarter of a million streams on Spotify. Now she returns with "Aftermath" a song that confronts the struggle of depression and mental health with a deeper meaning, and through it she not only serves up an awe inspiring performance built on expertly crafted production but she also delivers an important and powerful message around the impact of suicide on those left behind in the ‘Aftermath’.

The song was released via Inertia Access last week, if you’re unfamiliar with them it’s the home of acts such as Jai Wolf and Feki and the Australian home for Bjork, Bon Iver, Ciggarettes After Sex, M83 and many more.

LAUV Drops New Song 'Drugs & The Internet' Along With Trippy Video

If you saw LAUV drop a new single today an expected something mellow when you hit play, think again. As of today we’re introduced to a new direction for LAUV and we’re loving it!. The new single “Drugs & The Internet” is an impressive and powerful anthem, with gritty production and smart lyrics.

The main hook “I traded all my friends for drugs and the internet, Ah shit, am I a winner yet?” appears to draw ties between the addiction and social media fame. It comes along with an equally impressive and out of the box music video which supports our initial first thoughts.

It starts off walking alone in the night he kicks a broken PC monitor and is transported into a trippy new dimension of coloured walls, prescription bottles, VHS tapes, neon lights, animal filters, and jumps to him sat at a table full of mannequins and models and taking a spoonful of jelly (which was also featured in the video for NIKI’s ‘Lowkey’ which we covered yesterday). The video takes one last twist when he jumps back to the original scene, however as it zooms out it shows Lauv watching himself.

This ones without a doubt destined to hit radio waves worldwide in no time, and we’ll be singing along!

Why Grimes is Set to Have Her Biggest Year Yet

Electro-pop singer/songwriter/producer Grimes is known for making out-of-the-box and unique tracks, as well as for being an out-of-the-box and unique personality in the music scene. In January, she dropped her collab with fellow pop princess HANA, “We Appreciate Power”, a single set for her highly-anticipated album set to drop in December. Now, she’s returned yet again with her “Pretty Dark” demo single and video, a much different musical venture.

According to the artist, “Pretty Dark (Demo)” is a track from an AR (augmented reality) musical she’s been secretly working on. “ . . . while im finishing my album im just gonna start casually dropping stuff as I see fit. Been doing this exercise where I try to write and produce a whole song in like ~1-2 hrs… fuck technical proficiency and whatnot,” Grimes wrote in the video’s YouTube description. “ She revealed she’s been creating “sub-members” for her “psychedelic post k pop-ish fake band for my non-Grimes musical ventures . . . They are the main characters from the book/ musical im working on.. (AKA im bored of being so precious abt music and also feeling boxed in by the Grimes branding and I have this whole other world that’s rly fun to write for.”

If revealed according to Grimes’ plans, this new project will operate much like a Gorillaz-esque “virtual” band, with different animated characters taking part singing her songs. It will be interesting to see how all this plays out, and I for one, am here for all this new music, demos or not. If this takes off, Grimes is primed to take the music world by storm and break new ground for pop music in 2019.

Ruhde Shares New Remix of Sandro Cavazza's "Used To"

Swedish pop phenom Sandro Cavazza dropped the heart-wrenching ballad “Used To” in November with fellow up-and-comer Lou Elliotte, quickly garnering millions of streams online and charting on Sweden’s Hot 100. Now, Italian producer Ruhde is giving us his own take on this emotional banger.

Where the original maintained a raw and real feeling with booming drums and acoustic guitar instrumentation, Ruhde’s remix maintains the emotive vibes of the original and utilizes a gorgeous vocal chopped sample from Elliotte in the drop. The track never tries to be bigger or do more than it needs, simply flowing along with a chilled-out vibe that keeps all the best parts of the original version and reimagining the story.

Ruhde, aka David Russo, has been garnering a flurry of attention for his brilliant remixes, garnering millions of plays on Spotify alone and being supported by the likes of Run The Trap and Chill Nation.

Expect more remixes and a few originals on the way, and stream Ruhde’s “Used To” remix below:
