NOTD Return With HRVY For New Single "I Miss Myself"

Swedish duo NOTD’s rise to fame has been something of a whirlwind phenomenon. Their 2017 remix of Stanaj’s “Romantic” blew up seemingly out of nowhere and garnered over 100 million Spotify streams, while the “Shape of You” remix for Ed Sheeran earned a Remix of the Year nod at the first annual Electronic Music Awards, and earned a place as #1 electronic song on Soundcloud for 8 weeks straight. Now they’ve returned with their first original single of 2019, “I Miss Myself”.

The track features popular British pop newcomer HRVY delivering a silky smooth vocal performance and lyrics about finding yourself again after a breakup. NOTD’s characteristically fun and bright pop/future bass-inspired drop is satisfyingly catchy and nearly impossible not to bop your head to.

HRVY himself has been releasing a flurry of new tunes recently, hist latest being last month’s iTunes Top 10 smash “I Told You So”. Now he’s hoping to have another hit with NOTD. “Excuse my profanity but I’m absolutely ready for this next song to blow you guys the f**k away” the singer tweeted. With the viral power of these two powerhouses, it’s entirely plausible that this will be another chart topper.

Hayden James Teams Up With NAATIONS For "Nowhere to Go"

It may come as a shock to you that Australian producer Hayden James hasn’t yet released a full-length album, but that’s exactly the case. Now, the wait is over: James has finally released the first single off the highly-anticipated record, “Nowhere to Go.”

The track, a collab with vocal/production duo NAATIONS, is a groovy summertime dance jam with a hook so catchy you can’t help but sing along. The synths glide smoothly over funky bass lines that are made to get you moving. Hayden says of the track: "This song has always had a big summer vibe for me, I feel a sense of freedom and hope and the notion of ‘you only live once’ so make the most of it... ‘we ain’t got no better place to go / doesn’t matter cause I know you’."

Hayden James first appeared on the scene back in 2013 with his self-titled EP. Since then, he’s released a number of fan-favorite singles, including “Numb”, “Just Friends”, and “Something About You”. Now, he’s back with the announcement of his very first full-length LP, Between Us, due out June 14 on Future Classic. If “Nowhere to Go” is any indication, it’s going to be one hell of a banger.

Riddim Commission's Latest Single is The Next UK Club House Staple

UK duo Riddim Commission are back with their first original solo single of 2019, and it’s bound to take the house music world by storm. “Look So Cute” is quite possibly one of the most infectious and fun house songs I’ve heard all year, which is exactly what house music needs and should be.

The track doesn’t take itself too seriously, yet at the same time displays a level of maturity and class that could only come from a duo as prolific and respected as Riddim Commission. It’s a UK Club dream combination of house, grime, and hip hop that is impossible not to have fun listening to. It’s fun and entertaining nature is due in part to catchy pop-rap vocals lended by UK pop artist Gabi’el, which lead into a punchy yet bubbly high-energy drop.

Riddim Commission, comprised of industry major players Marco Del Horno and DJ Swerve, have carved a name for themselves in the scene as highly respected record bosses and hosts for Radio 1Xtra, Rinse FM and KISS FM. After dropping their debut album in 2017, the pair have scene support from industry heavyweights like Skream, DJ Target, and Annie Mac, plus crafting official remixes for the likes of Drake, Example, and Rae Sremmurd. It would seem the only way is up for these industry powerhouses.

NGHTMRE, Shaquille O'Neal and Lil Jon Team Up for a 'Bang'

Out of all the unlikely characters to pick up DJing/producing, NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal is definitely one of the least expected. DJing for a few years under the guise of DJ Diesel, this basketball champion MVP is now starting to make a name for himself in the scene, with major appearances headlining the likes of Lost Lands festival. Now, he’s teamed up with hard trap/dubstep legend NGHTMRE to bring us an absolutely fire new track “BANG.”

The song certainly lives up to its name. Lil Jon, who’s become something of an EDM staple, begins the track by hyping up the crowd with his signature call-outs, asking (rather, screaming) for the listener to “Nod your f-ing head, yo.” NGHTMRE and Shaq show off their production prowess on the explosive drop, with deep rocking bass that is bound to become a festival staple across the bass scene.

Shaq, who had a music career as a rapper in the mid-’90s, is now getting back into the game with “BANG”, his first new release in over 20 years. If this track is any indication, it looks like he’s got a long and lucrative EDM career ahead of him. NGHTMRE also has a lot of exciting things in store this year, with two headline slots announced at this year’s Ultra Music Festival, one with Slander as Gud Vibrations, and the other a groundbreaking b2b with Big Gigantic as Gigantic NGHTMRE. Plus, expect lots more new music to come, including a highly-anticipated collab with Virtual Riot.

We can’t wait to see what these two have in store for us in the future, but for now, stream “BANG” on Spotify below:

Martin Garrix Debuts Highly Anticipated New Single "No Sleep"

EDM heavyweight Martin Garrix is finally out with a brand new single featuring previous collaborator Bonn, and this one is sure to be one of Martin’s next big live staples.

Bonn, who previously worked with Garrix on the smash hit “High On Life”, brings his uplifting vocals to the mix once again. “I don’t need no sleep / ‘Cause I’m already dreaming”, he sings in the chorus, a perfect sentiment for wide-eyed festival goers to sing their hearts out to. Then comes Garrix’s characteristically anthemic and powerful progressive drop, dripping with cinematic synth layers and bright melody.

This is Garrix’s first new single of 2019, released on his own STMPD RCRDS imprint. The track was released in conjunction with the brand new music video, featuring shots of the pair and friends goofing off in grocery stores and dancing along to the track in a brightly lit field of flames and fireworks. Garrix is riding high on a flurry of successful STMPD releases, as well as the release of his first book, Life = Crazy, an exclusive look into the young legend’s life through photography shot by friend and artist Louis Van Baar.

Blanke Drops Captivating Two-Song EP "ALT.COLOUR//VOICE IN THE MACHINE"

Mid-tempo bass music has been seeing a massive rise in popularity over the last few years thanks to new pioneers such as Rezz and 1788-L, and now Blanke is proving why he’s the one to take the genre to the next level.

Dropped via Deadbeats Records, his newest musical venture “ALT.COLOUR//VOICE IN THE MACHINE” is a two-track listening experience that shows off the young producer’s prowess for sound-design with dark bass and glitchy synth beats. Track one is bouncy and fun in its own right, with experimentations with melodies that then delve into a bass heavy drop, while track two exemplifies its name, “VOICE IN THE MACHINE,” with a masterful vocal chop and twisted drop that is one of Blanke’s darkest drops to date.

Blanke has already seen success with releases from the likes of Astralwerks, DIM MAK, Buygore, and Lowly Palace. His singles and remixes have amasses millions of streams on Spotify, and he’s used this platform to book shows at some of the world’s most premiere events, with his next being this year’s highly-anticipated Ever After Festival.

Creamfields Will be Swedish House Mafia's Only UK Show in 2019

After months of speculation, Creamfields confirmed Swedish House Mafia for their upcoming 2019 lineup. The trio were the first headliners to be announced for the UK festival, which last year boasted a stacked lineup with artists such as Tiesto, Major Lazer, The Chainsmokers, Solardo, Nicole Moudaber, Carl Cox, and SHM members Axwell /\ Ingrosso.

The legends have also announced this date notably as being their only UK show in 2019. This suggests a fairly short and condensed tour schedule, with only a small number of major appearances for the group. Other shows confirmed by SHM’s official social media include Frequency festival in Austria, Tinderbox in Denmark, and Stavernfestivalen in Norway. These have been announced on top of the previously announced dates in Stockholm and Mexico City and their individual residencies in Las Vegas.

Although the trio have confirmed new music in the works, it will be interesting now to see what other shows they have booked, and what part of the world will be lucky enough to experience it live. Rumours have been circulating of a special performance at EDC, and a headline slot on the highly-speculated “Journey On” fest, a potential tribute to the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock. One thing is for sure, we can expect a lot of hype, mystery, and intrigue around every corner, and incredible new works from the legendary producers and their recent signing to Ron Lafitte’s Patriot Management.

Tickets for Creamfields are on sale now and you can get them in some cheap packages from less than a night out. Get yours here!
