Tails Drops Moving ‘last night’ Single With AYA YVES On Label bitbird

Tails has captured some time-testing epic beats in his days, breaking into the scene years back through flips/remixes that transcend expectations and triggered tens of thousands of electronic fans to put his music on repeat, (including myself.) The solo producer/songwriter did not let this momentum go to waste, continuing to hit the studio and striving to reach the potential he was mean to all along. Now with finished works under his belt ready to reveal, his relationship with label bitbird, (San Holo’s label,) is now deepening and expanding as they sign/partner up with him to get his music out to the world.

Following up “second thoughts feat. Monsoonsiren, with second single “last night (eclipse) [feat. AYA YVES,]” the common creative crossover between Tails and AYA YVES makes for a natural, quality original between them here. “last night,” is romantic, nostalgic, and features sonic elements fans will find familiar to the past releases of both artists.

Canadian producer and songwriter who we’ve come to know and love as Tails delivers a second hypnotic single, ‘last night (eclipse)’ with AYA YVES. This track follows up April’s successful ‘second thoughts’ with Monsoonsiren, and continues to showcase the evolution of Tails’ sound.

For Tails, the lockdown saga we all went through provided him work time for writing and honing his craft. The end result being immortalized music that speaks to millions of listeners today. AYA YVES was inspired by the energy Tails was bringing to the table. Isolated at the time of hearing Tails’ beat, the instrumental was awe-inspiring and allowed her inner creativity to boil over. She shared more here on that moment:

“I couldn’t sleep and couldn’t stop thinking about what I was going to write for the track. When the track gave me a vision of a sunrise I free flowed into my voice memos and ended up writing it in the space of about 10 minutes. I sent the track back to Tails and he changed up the beat into the incredible track it is now! It felt like [‘last night’] came together incredibly organically to me….”

Tails is turning heads and making a difference in the electronic scene track by track. Keen collaboration partners and a well-balanced spectrum of sound spewing from him, all signs are pointing toward this talent just getting warmed up in this year of revival and recovery.
