French house mastermind Tchami has just released the first two singles from his upcoming album. Tchami stated his “next project will be [his] first album“, soon after the announcement for the dual single was live.
After releasing just two singles throughout 2019 (also a third with DJ Snake and co), it sees the Frenchman has been saving up the productions for the currently untitled LP.
‘Ghosts’ features HANA, her perfect vocals are overlaid on a laid back house instrumental. The track is a slight departure from what Tchami usually outputs and it is really great.
The contrasting record is ‘Proud’. Tchami recruits Daecolm for his impressive vocal work. Just like ‘Ghosts’, ‘Proud’ is a chill and soulful kind of house production. Both of these records seem like that would be more successful in a commerical element rather than a club.
This EP shows Tchami’s diverse production abilities. This small album tease has us excited for the entire collection of tracks coming in a couple months!
