Last week, Teksupport wrapped up the 2024 year with a series of shows to celebrate 10 years of the beloved collective’s impact on the New York City dance scene. Since their collaboration with Time Warp in 2014, bringing the German festival to New York, Teksupport has solidified itself as a cornerstone in the city’s dance music culture. Over the past decade, Teksupport has curated some of the most sought-after lineups in the city across a variety of locations, from summer sunsets on piers to winter sunrises in warehouses.
To cap off an incredible year of shows, Teksupport pulled out all the stops for their 10-year anniversary, offering stacked lineups from December 27 – January 1. Hosted at the newly revamped Brooklyn Storehouse, these shows were set to impress – and they certainly did!
Brooklyn Storehouse is a recent collaboration with TCE Presents and Broadwick Live, the UK-based entertainment company behind iconic venues like The Drumsheds and the former Printworks London. They officially debuted the Brooklyn Navy Yard warehouse over the summer with major headliners Eric Prydz, Charlotte de Witte, John Summit, and Justice. Since then, the 105,000-square-foot industrial space has hosted incredible talent and standout events, offering an upgraded experience with enhanced visuals, leading quality sonic production, expanded outdoor areas, seating, and locker rentals.
Teksupport exceeded expectations with production for their anniversary celebrations. With over 900 lighting fixtures, 120+ d&b speakers, and a jaw-dropping design, the production was nothing short of spectacular. Each warehouse night featured a unique lineup, with Teksupport putting their best foot forward both on stage and behind the scenes to deliver four unforgettable events at Brooklyn Storehouse.
The celebration started off night one (Dec. 27) with a powerhouse techno lineup, featuring Adam Beyer, Nicole Moudaber, and Ilario Alicante. The second show, held the following night, included Nora En Pure, Gorgon City, and Patrick Topping, which did not disappoint! Everything about this show was remarkable – the music, production, and energy from the crowd was unbelievable! The December 29 event brought the vibes, showcasing acts such as Kaytranada and Carl Craig b2b Moodymann. After throwing a morning event at Sony Hall with Victor Calderone on January 1, Teksupport held one last show to ring in the new year and conclude their celebration, featuring epic b2b’s: Hot Since 82 b2b Ben Sterling, Joseph Capriati b2b Loco Dice, Prospa b2b Mink, Rossi. b2b Salomé Le Chat, and The Fellas b2b Ice Thompson, keeping the energy alive on the dance floor from day to night with 11 straight hours of electrifying grooves.
This new collaboration between TCE Presents and Broadwick Live marks the beginning of what promises to be a successful future for Brooklyn Storehouse. With standout Teksupport shows like ANOTR, Indira Paganotto, and Cassian already on the books for 2025, Brooklyn Storehouse is rapidly becoming a go-to destination for year-round music events showcasing global talent in New York City.
