Throttle Changes It Up On ‘Dreamer’ via Monstercat

Australia’s Throttle is no stranger to a hit. Known for his disco-infused and house driven club sounds such as ‘Tell Me You Love Me’ with Galantis and ‘Hit The Road Jack’. He’s taken over radio station charts, and achieved over 100 million streams on Spotify alone.

With his latest release ‘Dreamer’, he is shaking things up, taking a new approach and by presenting us with a melancholic electronica-infused record. The new single not only signals an interest in exploring a more wide range of elements, but it also marks his return to Toronto based imprint Monstercat.

‘Dreamer’ is a refresh for Throttle’s career, with it looking likely that he will focus on this new sound from now. This is the first single from his EP, presumably being released on Monstercat as well.

Having initially surfaced on Monstercat many years ago, he was then picked up by Avicii’s PRMD, he then progressed onto SPINNIN in a joint deal with Warner Music in his home country. He’s meanwhile locked in a string of hugely successful remixes for the likes of Ed Sheeran, Troye Sivan and Conrad Sewell.
