After dropping it for the first time at Amsterdam Music Festival in October, Tiësto & 7 Skies’ ‘My Frequency’ is now here. 7 Skies has worked with Tiësto most recently on the Together EP with ‘Trouble’.
Vocals come from RebMoe, who has worked with Jonas Aden previously, most notably on ‘I Don’t Speak French’ on Tiësto’s Musical Freedom. Her unique vocals allow for a clear and concise message whilst still working in with the instrumental.
It isn’t easy to categorise ‘My Frequency’, but it definitely is a modern spin on a mix of bass house and Tiësto’s known sound. The production emits dark but uplifting sounds that fit right into any set.
We knew this track would be awesome just by looking at the names, we have not been let down. ‘My Frequency’ is familiar yet change of pace when it comes to dance music.
