Tiësto Recruits Ty Dolla $ign For ‘The Business, Pt. II’

You would have to be living under a rock to have missed the rise of Tiësto’s latest single ‘The Business’, marking his debut through Atlantic – the track has blown up, with a staggering 200+ million on Spotify alone.

As with a lot of popular dance records, a second version appears with a more commercial artist involved. That is what we see here, with Ty Dolla $ign providing his vocals to the record. The catchy lyrics remain largely intact, with a few more lines brought in by the American rapper. While this is sure to be played everywhere and is a slam dunk for commercial success, many dance fans are unlikely to prefer this over the original.

“The worldwide response to ‘The Business’ has been incredible. There is nothing better than combining diverse sounds and genres to create something truly special and Ty’s smooth R&B vocals really takes this track to the next level,” says Tiësto. “I have always been a huge fan of Ty’s work… he’s an exceptional talent and I am thrilled we got to collab on this. I am very excited to share this new version with both of our fans around the world!”

“We got one! Thankful for being a part of this legendary moment. Always been a fan of Tiësto,” says Ty Dolla $ign.
